Technophony produces and publishes music recordings that explore sound, technology, and creative practice through a broad range of experimental approaches.

What We Produce

We seek musical works including, but not limited to:

• Experimental music and sound art recordings
• Electro-acoustic and improvisational works
• Generative or interactive music projects
• Artist-driven explorations of music technology and creative systems
• Hybrid works that combine field recordings, electronics, and performance

Our Approach

We work closely with artists to ensure that each recording reflects the creative and conceptual depth, care, and intentionality that went into it. We prefer projects that can be made available through open-access or freely accessible formats, including pay-what-you-want models, keeping recordings accessible to artists, scholars, and audiences.
